Day 1 Saturday 15

th

September 2018
Depart from Sydney

Wheelchair Taxi to Circular Quay with two wheelchairs (Electric and Manual), walker and three suitcases.
Left at 12pm, and in cabin by 1:15pm, so considering the size of the ship, a very quick boarding (helped by our Elite loyalty level and wheelchair pass).

First impressions, excellent, same happy welcoming crew, free soft serve ice-cream, and on Princess the Pizzas are free in the Pizzeria, love the space in the accessible room.

We really felt like we were back home.

Princess Theatre
Our accessible room C435
Champagne Welcome
New abandoned ship muster call, no need for life jackets

Day 2 Sunday 16

th

September 2018 At Sea

A day of exploring our new home

Early morning window clean machine.

Hollywood pool club and conservatory, a beautiful area to relax in

Back into routine
   - Breakfast in restaurant
   - Church
   - Coffee
   - Pop Choir
   - and today, our free bar fridge grog swapped for 18 bottles of water.

From the news, Majestic Princess entered Sydney for the first time along a runway of flares

At his midday announcement the Captain said we were leaving the bad weather behind.
But I must say unless you went to bow or aft of the ship, most of the time there was very little movement with a 3 metre swell.

Day 3 Monday 17

th

September 2018 At Sea

Dinner traditional style where we sit with the same people each night, this trip a couple from America (Mick and Cyndy) and from Adelaide (Jeanette and Trevor), a great way to share stories.

Production Show

After the show we went up on deck to see the water fountain and Kevin went back to the Production show to take some shots from further back.

Day 4 Tuesday 18

th

September 2018
Noumea New Caledonia

Interestingly even though this is approximately the same size as the Ovation of the Seas, things seem to be much less crowded.

Welcome to Noumea dancers (X3) and drummers

We decided to have a look around the ship after most passengers had gone ashore on excursions.
Then our morning caffeine hit (plus I should not mention a pastry)

Ship
Shuttle to Cruise TerminalShip

Below, blue line Shuttle Bus and red line wheelchair walking.

Anne waited at the bottom of the hill while Kevin walked up to the church for a photo.

Back on board for healthy (not) lunch in the Marketplace (Pig Pen).

Our room from arse (sorry Stern) of the ship is at the picture of the Eiffel Tower you can see at the "far far away in a distant galaxy" end. Actually that is only half way down the ship.

Found the room (Laundry) that as Elite passengers, we do not use.

Picture of the day, wonder what I did wrong?

Time to leave Noumea and head for Mystery Island

Dinner and the Australian Beatles show, a long time since I have seen so many "young" people singing and dancing, great show time to leave Noumea and head for Mystery Island.
